My passion for practical handmade children clothing came when I had my first baby boy, followed by two beautiful girls. I felt that the market wasn't really catering for my taste in children's clothes, I wanted quality, beautiful long lasting fabrics.... so I decided to start sewing clothes for my kids. I had so many people comment on the quality that it inspired me to start my own clothing brand and Country Babes, a clothing brand now synonymous with outback Australia was born. I then added the Vintage inspired range of beautiful fabrics launching my second brand Vintage Babes to compliment each other.
